South Hills Church Community

Our Purpose:
We exist as a church community to make Jesus famous in the Las Vegas Valley and to the ends of the earth.

Our Vision:
Just as Christ transforms people from the inside out, we have three sets of values that work together toward our purpose of making Jesus famous.  Many churches have a vision statement that is several pages long.  We have tried to consolidate and simplify ours into the sort of thing that would fit on a paper napkin.

Worship and prayer flow out of gratitude to God for what he has done to transform our hearts, the community, and the world.  We call these concepts our upward values.  It is our hope and belief that if we are a church that does all of these things well, that our purpose of making Jesus famous will naturally flow out of the movement of our church community.

Our inward values, including discipleship, fellowship, and the training of leaders work together to prepare our church community to go out and make disciples. 

Outward values such as evangelism and service compel us to serve the local and global community by taking the love of Christ to them in tangible form.
