Making Jesus Famous through our Outward values such as evangelism and service compel us to serve the local and global community by taking the love of Christ to them in tangible form. Through the generous contributions from our church community we support several missionaries here in the US and in foreign countries. Several of them are members of South Hills Church Community having grown up through our student programs. Alan is a National partnering with G.O.
Ministries. Sharing the Gospel through sports ministry they are
reaching hundreds of kids through basketball, soccer, volleyball, and
baseball yearly. Alan also translates for short-term teams in medical
and dental clinics and G.O.'s on-going pastor training seminars. Jackie, a member of South Hills,
is a missionary with G.O. Ministries, and she coordinates nearly 50
short-term mission teams each year from all over the US to travel to
the Dominican Republic to serve alongside G.O. Ministries national
partners. She also coordinates the internship program for those wanting
to serve for a more extended period of time. By living on the field in
the Dominican Republic Alan and Jackie help facilitate the experiences
of short-term teams and are passionate about challenging team members

Christian and Missionary Alliance long term missionaries, The Romanos live and work in the Ensenada, Mexico area. The Ensenada Short Term Mission Center exists to incorporate short-term mission groups in the Great Commission of reaching the unreached and to strengthen the churches in Mexico and the United States.

Inner-city Mission
There is a tremendous unmet need for good, solid verse by verse Bible
teaching in the inner cities of America. South Hills, along with other area churches, partners with Calvary Downtown Outreach to provide environments where all who are in the inner city area can come
worship the Lord, decently and in order, and receive solid, Biblical
disciple- ship. Through their efforts every week hundreds of people in need not only receive hot meals, they find a place to worship and come to know the love of the Lord.

Surfing the Nations
Whitney has grown up at South Hills through our student ministries programs and we are happy to help support her missions work. Surfing the Nations makes yearly trips to Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Israel, Egypt and China, bringing with them clothing and supplies for the international communities.
