By the Grace of God, South Hills is blessed with many creative and artistic members. It is our mission to find ways to use all that talent to spread the Gospel and to praise His name. To achieve that end we have established a basic framework to organize our team that we call The Artist Community.
Included in this ministry are all the musicians, singers, fine artists,
graphic designers, web designers, writers, painters, audio technicians,
video technicians, video editors, craftsmen, set designers, composers,
actors, photographers, visionaries, dancers, choreographers and we
can't leave out the jugglers, sword eaters, clowns and lion tamers!
Oh, we can't forget the comedians. . . So if you have a skill and are called
to use it for the Lords' work, then we want to hear from you. As a community, we are engaged in the demanding, but rewarding, work of decorating our new campus while enacting the first creative vision for our new home. Is anyone else excited? The sights and sounds of the worship center will be the result of the best we have to give so we look forward to some good hard work with all of you in the months to come.
If you are looking for a church home and want to know about our musical worship taste, we are a contemporary praise band with musical influences from David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Mercy Me and Third Day. We are a church that loves to sing in worship and praise and we're not always quiet about it. We also have a Saturday evening service at 6:30 conducted in Spanish, so if you are interested in playing/singing songs of that genre we welcome your participation. Best of all, just come down and join us for church and see for yourself.
